Ecological citizenship in action

The Ecological Citizens Festival is a free, in-person event taking place at the Museum of Making in Derby. It offers a full day of interactive workshops, creative sessions, open conversations and shared meals, all designed to explore how ecological citizenship is being practised in diverse, grounded and collaborative ways.

The festival is open to anyone interested in ecological sustainability, civic participation and creative approaches to climate and environmental challenges. We welcome participants from across academia, local communities, the public and private sectors, the arts, activism and design.
